What is Counselling ?

Counselling is a process of talking about personal concerns within the safety of a confidential non-judgmental relationship and being listened to by a trained professional. Counselling can help you to talk about your worries at your own pace and can help you to live a more contented life.

Duration:

The number of sessions required depends on the individual problem.  The average is between 6 and 20 sessions. Some people may benefit from 2 or 3 sessions to help them deal with an immediate short-term issue in their lives. Other people may wish for longer-term counselling to explore and resolve deeper issues.  Counselling sessions last for 1 hour.
